Date My Mate is a warm, playful singles night hosted by irl singles club at Goldfinch Books in Alton on Saturday 25th April 2026, 7:45pm onwards.

Come along with a friend, and if you’re up for it, let them take the mic to give a short, light-hearted pitch about why you’re great and worth getting to know. Expect quick presentations, plenty of laughs, and a relaxed social atmosphere that’s designed to feel fun rather than formal. The evening will also include a bingo-style icebreaker, using fun facts submitted in advance to help get conversations flowing from the moment guests arrive.

Whether you’re being pitched, pitching your mate, or just coming along to meet new people, the aim is the same: a friendly, low-pressure night of introductions, mingling and connection.
