At Goldfinch, we are passionate about all things literary and creative. Our Member Zone provides a window on that creative world, and a doorway for those of you with creative ambitions. The creative writing and publishing industry can be very opaque, but a bit of guidance from those on the inside can help you plan your pathway, avoid some pitfalls, hone your craft, and perhaps make some friends along the way.
The Goldfinch Member Zone is reserved for those who have become Goldfinch Members either by signing up to one of our courses, purchasing support services, or by joining the Goldfinch Members’ Club*. The resources in these pages will grow with time. We will continue to populate the creative writing, indie author and other support pages with materials, guides, links, examples and other information generated by the Goldfinch business in pursuit of providing that doorway into the creative writing and publishing world. And your membership is a lifetime membership. All new resources are free to members.
*Note that we have a small number of Goldfinch sponsored places on all our courses and Member Options for those from traditionally under-represented backgrounds, those with mental health challenges, and for those of limited means to cover the costs. Further details on request at application.

Our first Goldfinch face-to-face course of 6-weeks Creative Writing with Lou Morrish. Come and learn, surrounded by books, what makes an engaging character; how important is plotting; craft believable dialogue; setting, tenses, and much more.
